What's going on?

LJ is spitting out a random mixture of ancient comments/responses, some of which I've never seen. Bizarre. I fear some of you think I dropped conversations mid-interactions, but hopefully it's all tied to the data center move at LJ, so everyone is affected. Right?

Simultaneously, my email server seems to be selectively not sending *outbound* emails from my box. Sometimes that little Norton thingy warns me, but if you're awaiting email from me that you haven't seen, ping me again, will you? Personal email and group emails seem to be equally affected.

I'm headachey and tired, tonight. It's not supposed to be this cold yet in Georgia, is it?? I really am going to end up in a subtropical climate someday to get the weather patterns I prefer...

I just got comments from November 21. They've just figured out why we weren't getting comments and are clearing out the backlog.

Oh boy. This isn't going to be pretty...

I'm getting them from that far back, as well. At first, I'll admit that I was thinking there were people out there replying to an ancient (in LJ terms) conversation and it had me fairly confused. Still, that over two weeks ago, and I can't believe how much stuff was missed!

Oh, LJ's all crazy! I'm getting comments from nov. 21, all of which I already received back on nov. 21. It'd be nifty if they were all the comments that never came in before but it doesn't seem like it's working that way for me.

Oh! That's it! I'm getting responses to comments I made in other people's journals, mostly. I'll bet they are people whose LJs got screwed... I'm going to hate life if all those writercon community comments start pouring in...

Re: Apparently, there was this wormhole...
Farscape is probably the single best TV series, ever. Ever, ever.

We're in a holding pattern for special guests at the moment -- nice long list, but it's a little early for most of them to commit. Hang onto those emails, we may need you :-)

Good to 'see' you again, and I'd love to see you in Atlanta, too. I'd hate to spend all of early July collecting people from around the US who have to be drug here ;-)

d00d! I got over 60 comments today, mostly from the first part of November, but I also got one from 01/06/05. Wow. :)

Woo-ee. My box overruneth, too. Maybe they found the gremlins that occasionally eat comment mailings...we'll know to be worried when we start seeing 'em from 2001.

I'm sorry you're headachey and tired, Chris! Also, cold. (Even down here at the edge of the subtropics it's a mite chilly.) I send tea and a lovely velvet throw and cashmere socks.

Ah, but I do have lovely comfort reading in my hands! And cashmere socks, oh my goodness, what a luxury? I'd never have even thought of it, but wow...::imagines::

I'm getting LJ comments from way back, too.

Hope your headache clears up soon. *hugs*
