Happy Hannukah, all. Being Southern and celebrating Hannukah go hand in hand, let me tell you. Sucks to try to get a fried meal together and work too, but...well, let's just say that someday there are a million and a half stories in work. I'd love to let it go, but I can't without a damned good reason, and I don't mean because of the paycheck.

It's been a whirlwind. I miss this part of life. I miss all of you, too. Really. Even those of you I don't know at all, much less well.

It seems bizarre to be thinking of next year when Dec has barely begun, but that's the way life has been since Sept... Here's hoping everyone's 2004 brought some good with the bad, and some light with the dark!

ps - I disabled comments just because I don't want to feel bad that I didn't answer back, honest. I just want to let y'all know I'm still sorta here and sorta alive. Friday I have half a day to myself, and will update the Sandlot front page and try to get through the nearly three month backlog of email. God help me.

Hi Chris. I was wondering, what happened to the Jane Espenson video? Will we ever get the promised recordings from Writercon?
I don't mean to nag or anything, I'm just curious. My thoughts often return to Writercon, it was a truly memorable experience, and whenever my thoughts wander back to Vegas I wonder what happened to the audio recordings and the video. :-)

Bet you already saw my newest post, but yes indeed you will. Technical and other issues have gotten in the way, but I've purchased server/bandwidth to start letting audio out in pieces before we're able to produce cds of the audio and video. I hope to have something up there first week of the new year, and in pieces thereafter. 8 weeks was a ridiculous estimate for amateur, side job work, no matter the quality.

Hang in there, and merry holiday season to you!

Yeah, I read your post. I wasn't cross, just impatient in a good way. And eager to show the Jane Espenson Q&A to hubby and a couple of friends.
Writercon feels kinda unreal right now, after all this time, it would be nice to have a tangible proof...

Anyway, have a good Christmas. *hug*
