Brief note

I've been experiencing horrendous computer problems over the last several days -- if you were expecting to hear from me, and didn't, that's quite possibly why.

I'm recovering data now, and expect to be caught up by tomorrow evening, including a big update/FAQ on the Writercon Auction...so hold onto your hats where that's concerned. The con committee did meet on Saturday, and we've worked out ways and means for it, with a hoped-for start of Monday, April 12.

Sayonara, til tomorrow!

Awww, *keeps fingers crossed for you*

Also, I had an idea for the fundraiser, for the writercon shop.
How about doing shipper mugs with drabbles by famous writers printed on them?

Or maybe with quotations from some of the best and most famous fanfics out there? Like ten lines out of the Bittersweet saga and ten out of Chocolatey Goodness?

Literary mugs with relatively small print.

Just a thought.

That would be cool. That would be really cool.

:-) Heee.
I haven't actually tried to work out how many words one can squeeze on a mug, but 150 to 200 should be possible, right?

Heh! If you will do or convince someone else to capture the text, I will ask Mint to rotate said mugs through the shop!

by capture you mean turn into a graphic? Uh, how is that done? Okay, I will giveit some thought tomorrow, when I feel better....

Smiles. I don't think a graphic is necessary. Capture, in this sense = locate some appropriate quotes and put them in an email or word document or some such. Or maybe post to the Writercon LJ and ask folks to comment with their favorite quotes??
