Am I *truly* ancient?

I know that my birthday was yesterday and I'm a step closer to ancient, but WTF? 34's not that old! The LJs have all turned into teeny, tiny, unreadable fonts?

Somebody help out an old lady and tell me where the heck to go so I can read all the pretty LJs? The font is *way* too small to read and I already tried the local options for increasing font size in my browser...

ETA: I still don't know why things mysteriously got impossible to read on other folks' pages, but adding this after the link in my browser address field at least makes the journals show up readably, even though all the pretty stuff goes away, along with the tiny fonts: ?style=mine

A very happy birthday for yesterday Miss Chris. I wish you all the good things you wish for yourself. And at 34 you are a mere babe. Trust me. I know about these things. I hope you had a lovely birthday.

LOL! Lyric, I never in a million years would have guessed you to be any older than, oh, 25. And I do mean that as a compliment. Thanks for the wonderful wishes. The day could have been improved upon, but I'm feeling fairly mellow and not at all complain-y at the moment...

Thanks Chris, I'll take that as the compliment you intended. Hope the mellow feelings continue for a considerable time to come.

Happy birthday, Chris! I KNEW I was making that extra pan of cinanmon rolls for someone. Cheers! Hope it was a good day. ((hugs))

Mmmmmm. Yeast cinnamon rolls are my *very* favorite! Thank you, Winsome... Birthdays are mostly non-events for me, but had a nice meal with good Italian wine after a 12-hour workday. That's unusual enough to count as a good birthday in my book :-)

I'm clueless as to the font size, but I do wish you a most happy belated birthday. I have one of those next week and I'm feeling pretty creaky meself. Since I'm not quite there yet, but fast approaching, I prefer to think that 34's quite young! Hope it was a great day for you.

Today, at least, has been a fine day. Yesterday ended on a good note. That's enough for me :-)

Thank you for the nice wishes, and yes, from here 34 feels very young. I had to ask Mike how old I was, though. I lost track about the time child #2 was born (pre-30s)

Not even close
Happy belated birthday, Chris. And 34? Phit! You're still just a chicky babe. {{gives you big birthday hug}}

Re: Not even close
*hugs you back*

Yes, a chicky, but a chicky who HATES the tiny type that's all over LJ now!

Many, many happy returns of, er, yesterday, Chris! [big hug]

Hope your day was delicious, filled with good things and laughter and maybe some champagne. :-)

Happy birthday yesterday!

S'ank you, Lori dear! I begin to understand how Thamiris got all upset about people responding out of order... LJ is a a v. dumb thing sometimes.

The LJ font doesn't look any smaller to me, but a friend complained the other day that her LJ suddenly had a giant font. Methinks something is wacky in LJ Land.

And happy birthday!! 34? God, you're younger than I am. *coughbitchcough*

Sigh. I can't click on anybody's journal who is using S2 and see readable text, including communities. I'm at least four days behind in reading, and it's easier to catch up person by person than using my friends page...Oh well.

You're *older* than me???? That's just wrong!

It is, it is! Somebody do something!

A belated Happy Birthday, Chris. Hope it was a good one. And you are a mere youngster, you do realize? :-)

Happy Birthday Chris!!!!!!!!!!!

It seems just to affect friends of mine that use Componant S2. Mine is Tabula Ident and fine. But as I have appalling eyesight tiny fonts are a bane of my life. But one that in Internet Explorer can be dealt with by View, Text Size, and upping it from smallest.
But it does seem to be a Componant problem.

Woohoo! A solution! *thank* you, Leslie dear!!!
