What are you need are pillows, chocolate, and salty stuff. Plus sarcasm. Can I recommend, "Getting In Touch With Your Inner Bitch"? Works like a charm. And even if you still have to go to work, I find that pillows, chocolate, and salty stuff are especially effective at work, if only for the way one's coworkers react.

Ever hear a dog whine at a lawn mower? That's what I sounded like when I laughed at your post. You are *so* right. I need to let the inner Bitch out. But she's not very effective with laryngitis...the engineers at work had a field day with the six-octave drop in my voice though. It was even *almost* cute in the first meeting. By the third? Not so much.
