Living in work hell

Y'all give me something more pleasant to think about, so I don't commit murder and get put away for life...

A meme, courtesey of ponders_life:

I want anyone and EVERYONE who reads this, to comment about something they would like to do with me someday.

Then post this in your journal to find out what people want to do with you. ;)

I'd like to sit out under the stars (nice breeze, no bugs) with a good bottle of wine and just chat with you. :-)

Hugs, poor Chris, and I hope all gets better soon.

I want to sit beside the pool and discuss soulless redemption and porn erotica. :)

Oh yes, definitely. Starting after an early dinner or a late lunch, while the sun is still warm, on into the night (maybe Sally will make a guest appearance for the porn part!)

Used bookstores and lunch?

Yesyesyesyesyes!

When I am old and gray and have my bookstore, you can sit with me in the rockers out front. We will make *other* people do the inside work!

I want to have a cup of coffee with you or two.

Mmmmm. Coffee!

Definitely on my to-do list, someday. We *still* haven't really gotten a good talk in, despite two cons in the same city.

Seeing's how I read this entry...

Slug down just enough alcohol so that we are inhibition free and be front row idiots at a Rick Springfield concert.

in New Orleans

because I've never been there and you can show me around.

Squeeee!

Yes. Front row idiots at a Rick Springfield concert. But we shall insist on the old-style rock, yes?

And NOLA, for sure. Food, fun, you'd love it.

Frankie & Johnnie's, after sunset on the levee and a couple of beers at Cooter Brown's. It's a date.

A threesome with Alexis Denisof er, I mean, I kind of like that lunch and used bookstores thing. Or better yet Writercon 2 next year. :-)

Man, why'd ya have to cross that out? I could pretend he's not married. Really I could. (although I suspect he's too young for us...)

Um, you do know this is what I'd LIKE to do with you. Not what I'm GOING to do with you. We can say ANYTHING we like and not feel guilty. Unless of course you have some way of potentially making this happen in which case I remove my crossout line but of course if you don't feel comfortable being present I could just go on without you. I could have my perfect day with you without you.
:-)

Sit on my glider on my front porch, swing gently back and back and forth. It's a sunny October day and we can look towards the park at the end of my street and just contemplate life or the Buffyverse. Tasty snacks might be involved.

Oh yes! Iced coffee, for the beach. With the ice cubes made from frozen coffee. Big and tall. We can watch the beach for ASHalikes.

The comment function wasn't working when I first saw this, but it is now so...

I want to work with you, again. I really, really enjoyed working with you in Las Vegas, we were a great team, and I want to do it again with LV under our belt. Your strengths fit right up against my weaknesses; it was fab, and I think the next event we do will kick serious ass. Also, someday, I would like to hang out with you in a city that you like, and watch you be excited about it. No work, just fun.

You always spark something in me, you know that?

I want to work with you again, too. Something smaller, inbetweentimes. We'll have to figure it out soon!

Am home tonight, btw...alive and feeling very Wizard of Oz-y.

I'm not gay. So, stop trying to trick me into things.
