I think I am coming back to life. And you know what else? This weekend, save about two hours, is all about writing. Finally have a solid notion to follow on the W/G ficathon assignment, and starting to pin down Lori's pov, too. One of the dark, the other of the indeterminate. But no deaths, promise! I haven't lifted a pen toward NC-17 in a v. long time, but for W/G, why not, yeah?

Yeah.

It's really good to feel inspired again.

Yes, I really, really will finish Carthage someday. I may have to rip it apart and put it back together again, but it's freaking plotted all the way to the end, and I still don't quite know why I can't write the rest. Something in it is dishonest -- that's the best I can diagnose. Possibly something to do with forcing the Buffy redemption on a path that didn't fit. Or maybe a late-developing dislike for the melodrama that comes from basing plot on a greek tragedy... Who knows? I shoulda done the Writers' Block panel.

Maybe if I can finish these two W/G, then I'll think about Carthage.

I get the ripping apart thing. Think I need some good pruning shears for Exile.

Will make a deal with you. Will finish Exile if you finish Carthage.

Mmmmkay? Good.

Yay! for inspiration. And the time to do something with it.

I'd say something about Carthage too, but that would be wrong. :-)

See above to Kelly. Someday. God only knows when someday is, but it is not today.

Your example, however, shines brightly before me.

You need a copy of Shaddyr's Writercon mixes, btw. Lots of good 80s metal...

You know, you're right. Cingelus has been dormant for far too long.

Heh.
